About Stacey & Brad
Not too many people say 'When I grow up I want to be an insurance agent'.
Ya, and we didn't either. Stacey wanted to be a famous DJ, and Brad wanted to be a football coach (but ended up being a sports writer for the Columbia Basin Herald instead). And, here we are, and we're genuinely happy to be here.
Stacey grew up in Missouri in a small rural community, the daughter of a veterinarian and a sociology professor. She eventually ventured to NYC and the greater metro area, where she lived for almost 15 years. Her time there was adventure-filled, and she has many stories to tell, but she is happy to now live in Orem, UT, and loves all the beautiful landscapes that Utah has to offer. She especially loves snowboarding.
Stacey graduated with a degree in music, and while in NYC, she had the opportunity to study at Juilliard with a world-renowned opera singer. She currently volunteers as a church organist and occasionally plays drums for a ‘mom’ rock band.
Stacey has been an entrepreneur and business owner for too many years to count, and is passionate about helping other business owners. She still operates a camera financing company that helps young photographers get equipment they need. She has also been a guest lecturer at Brigham Young University, teaching students how to start up their own businesses. She sees insurance as a way to help owners protect their businesses, and enjoys helping them with safety and risk management.
Brad started his career with CNA Financial in June 2005 as an underwriter, where he developed extensive knowledge in construction and technology insurance, becoming one of the leading experts in the state of Washington in Technology Errors and Omissions, as well as cyber liability, contract review and risk management. Some of the companies to come across his desk were Uber, Facebook, Expedia, Trip Advisor, and others. His career has included working at CNA, The Hartford Insurance Company and Western National Insurance Company.
Currently, he is an agent, advocate and partner to those businesses he represents; helping his clients around the country avoid the hazards that would limit their insurance markets. He has developed risk management programs for contractors, truckers, tech companies and a wide variety of business owners.
Brad has lived in the state of Utah with his wife and five kids for the last two years. He considers himself a golfer, an entrepreuner, and an avid fan of Washington State University and the Seattle Seahawks!
Things others might not know - Brad’s career started as a sports writer for a small newspaper in Central Washington. His stories and photos have appeared in a variety of publications. He has never hit a hole in one, fish are disgusting and so are tomatoes, mushrooms and onions.
